So says Fred Alan Wolf, Ph. D. and Quantum Physicist, in the underground hit film, The Secret. That is my belief, as well. Everything that we need to know about the vast universe around us can be answered within our own minds.
We use such a tiny portion of our brains. I have heard different percentages ranging from 2% to 10%. Exactly what is happening with the rest of our brains? Seems like an awful waste to me. How much energy is generated by our brains? When does mind step in and take over? How does consciousness affect the energy in our brains and bodies? These are but a few of the questions for which I seek answers.
I have been exploring many modalities of energy work for more than 20 years and I can comfortably say that energy is all around us 24/7. In fact, everything is energy. But from where does this energy originate? And from what is this energy made of? These will be a few of the questions that I will be seeking to answer during the life of this blog. You may want to check out my first research paper that I presented at Stanford University during a research symposium. A large portion of the research paper is dedicated to Reiki, but it got me started in the direction of brain wave entrainment. The research paper is included in this blog.
During my studies and research I found that there were some practitioners in the many fields of energy work that were a bit woo-woo and aerie-faerie for me, and their behaviour put off many people who prefer to err on the side of logic. I am a nuts-and-bolts kind of gal. I have always looked for the reason of WHY a certain form of energy work is effective and successful. I want to fully understand the science behind the claims. I needed more science to help me understand.
The studies of consciousness, mind, brain, and energy are constantly evolving just as the human race is. So updates will likely be frequent here. The only thing that will be constant during these discoveries will be the change. My most recent studies and research has led me to the field of brain wave entrainment (bwe).
This research is my passion. I consider brain wave entrainment to be critical in helping to build quantum bridges between consciousness, mind, brain, body and soul.
